Isaac Mora
Director of Education
Isaac first developed an interest in international affairs through his experience navigating the challenges posed by growing up in both Oakland and Mexico. He earned his Bachelors in Sociology from California State University East Bay, and further pursued his Masters in International Studies from the University of San Francisco. Isaac’s extensive experience working with youth in Oakland began when he was in high school. He realized early on that youth have an important role in society and honing their understanding of the complexities of a globalized world has become his personal mission.
Isaac believes that his work as the Education and Community Programs Officer is essential for supporting the mission of the World Affairs Council to contribute in preparing future generations of leaders to meet the challenges of today’s world.
