An impactful film inspires awareness, empathy and dialogue. It fosters understanding of other viewpoints and engages us in social change. International film authority Jasmina Bojic will illustrate the power of film with the short documentary This Being Human. She will share the complexities of filming, including the risks of investigating repressive regimes, the difficulty of communicating complex situations like terrorism, and the impact of films on the people recorded. Is a filmmaker an artist, an activist or journalist?
Stanford film educator Jasmina Bojic has produced and directed documentaries and served on numerous film festival juries.
