Who can you trust? In the current age, we feel overwhelmed by the amount of information coming at us and are distrustful of its sources and their motivations. And we are right to be concerned, because bad actors increasingly dominate our domestic and global info-sphere. This is no minor matter—our democracy, social cohesion, and economic well-being all depend on access to facts, to reality.
Come listen as Dr. Paul Clarke describes our troubled information environment, the many actors involved and how they operate. Finally, he will provide some important tips on how to be a savvy information consumer. There will be 40 elections worldwide in 2024, including in the US. Are you ready?
This event will take place on the Dominican University campus.
