Terry Vogt

Managing Director, Terra Global Capital
Terry Vogt is a private investor with extensive experience in Latin American projects. He is currently Managing Director of Terra Global Capital, a company facilitating the creation and financing of carbon offsets in forestry and agriculture. Prior to this he was Program Director for Conservation Finance at the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation in San Francisco. He has also worked as an international banker, and managed an international organization in the area of agriculture and sustainable rural development. Mr. Vogt has a degree from Harvard University in Latin American history and served for 4 years in the US Peace Corps as a volunteer in Northeast Brazil and as a staff member in the Amazon. He has an M.B.A. from the University of Colorado with an emphasis in Operations Research. Mr. Vogt has been an active board member of many internationally focused non-profit organizations in the San Francisco Bay Area. In 1996, the President of Brazil, Fernando Henrique Cardoso, awarded him the Order of Rio Branco for his work in developing trade and investment between Brazil and the US.
