Bryan Weisbard

Bryan Weisbard, CPA, CFE (Nominations and Elections Committee Chair) is the Director of Privacy Planning & Operations at Meta. Prior to his role at Meta, he was the Director of Trust & Safety at Google and Intuit, and the Director of Online Safety Operations, Security Analysis and Investigations at Twitter.
Before to joining these leading technology companies, Weisbard served in the United States Intelligence Community for several years in a variety of national security roles, both in Washington D.C. and around the world. Weisbard brings a wealth of experience in advising organizations on privacy, digital safety, and security matters. Weisbard is a member of Business Executives for National Security, the Pacific Council on International Policy, and a Term Member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
In addition to serving on the World Affairs Council Board of Trustees, he also serves as President of the Board of Directors for Up On Top School Program, a 501(c)(3) charity providing free educational programs to children from low-income families in San Francisco. Weisbard also served as a Board member of the Rutgers University Big Data program where he advised industry professionals on how best to solve cyber security, machine learning, privacy, online safety, and data analytics challenges. Weisbard is recognized for leveraging technological innovation to solve security challenges.
Weisbard received an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a Bachelor’s of Business Administration from the University of Miami, and a Certificate in Forensic Accounting from Georgetown University. Weisbard is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE).
